In addition to financial support, they offer comprehensive business education resources, including expert advice, courses, and a community of entrepreneurs to help you navigate the challenges of building and growing your creative business.

herrise microgrants are offered by the yva jourdan foundation, the nonprofit arm of hersuitespot, an organization that provides business coaching and training to women of color entrepreneurs. $1,000 grants are awarded each month, and applications are accepted on a monthly basis. to be eligible, your business must be at least 51% woman of color owned, and you must have less than $1 million in gross revenue.

lendzi is transforming the landscape for entrepreneurs by providing loans that support their ambitions instead of losing them to rejection. they are working to empower small businesses to transcend traditional roles and become visionaries, creators, and trailblazers. they are driven by the belief that our world is carried by small businesses and they need accessible capital to keep it that way.

the queer mobilization fund (qmf) supports community mobilizations advancing queer and trans liberation. since 2016, the queer mobilization fund has provided grants and capacity-building support to grassroots efforts across north carolina and the us southeast. their mission is to strengthen and empower bipoc-led organizations and communities working towards freedom and liberation.

handshake was established to provide college students with equal access to meaningful career opportunities. since 2014, the network of university and employer partners has expanded significantly, making handshake the leading early career community in the us. it connects students with a wide range of job openings and internship opportunities, helping them launch successful careers.

color compton is an arts and history organization grounded in theories and concepts of art making, storytelling, identity, community, and history. through youth internships and community workshops, they highlight the importance of storytelling and narratives throughout history while also introducing visual art techniques and mediums to empower each person to develop their own narratives.

dream defenders stands in defiance of the myths spun by corporations and white supremacy, dream defenders envisions a world where the real power—our power—is recognized, celebrated, and mobilized to build a just and inclusive future. the projects they champion, like the healing & justice center, cancel all student debt, freedom market, decriminalizing marijuana, and the freedom papers,

midnight & indigo is a literary magazine and publishing company dedicated to amplifying the voices of Black women writers, contributing to the rich tapestry of Black literature. they facilitate online writing classes for Black women writers and have published 375+ emerging and established Black storytellers across the U.S., Africa, the Caribbean, Europe, Canada, Asia, and Australia.

activation residency is a farm and artist residency program set on 12 acres in upstate new york. designed for black queer artists and their allies, activation offers a retreat where artists can escape traditional barriers and find support for their creative endeavors. the program emphasizes radical accessibility, inclusion, and community, providing a space for artists to explore their work freely and connect with one another..

queer aunties was founded in los angelos to create space for black and brown lgbtqia+ communities. today, they have grown into a robust network of creatives, taste-makers, and professionals across industries within the bipoc lgbtqia+ diaspora. their mission is to craft a community where authenticity thrives, empowerment echoes, and love intertwines with joy.

prism began in 2019 when four high school students sought to create a safe space for lgbtq+ youth. faced with resistance from school administration, they now advocate for lgbtq+ rights across south florida. in 2020, prism evolved into a nonprofit organization and vibrant coalition of queer advocates dedicated to empowering lgbtq+ youth and ensuring their voices are heard.

queerency is a source for lgbtq+ business and finance, spotlighting queer-owned brands and entrepreneurs covering our economy with dignity and depth. their mission is to showcase the possibilities for what queer businesses can achieve, amplifying lgbtq voices in business media. welcoming ideas and leads on economic issues affecting our communities.

southern vision alliance supports emergent grassroots groups and efforts organizing for social, racial, economic, gender, and environmental justice in the u.s. south. they are building movement infrastructure, mobilizing resources, and incubating collaborative solidarity through fiscal sponsorships, mini grants and programming for activists, organizers and creatives.

project lets is a national grassroots movement led by individuals living through disability, trauma, and neurodivergence. focused on building collective wellness structures outside of state-sanctioned systems, project lets prioritizes political education for marginalized communities, advocating for a world free from oppression, their work is disrupting oppressive systems, providing peer-led spaces for healing.

dr. jennifer mullan, witnessed how traditional mental health systems failed qbipoc communities, leading her to bend the rules and create spaces that prioritize true healing and liberation., birthing decolonizing therapy, which challenges colonial practices in mental health. this movement, has educated thousands of practitioners worldwide and continues to inspire a global shift towards more inclusive, healing-centered practices.

the expansive group was founded by casey tanner (she/they), a certified sex therapist dedicated to serving those who are fluent within their genders, sexualities, and relationships. rooted in tenderness, liberation, and community, they are actively working to empower and advocate for intersecting identities. through care from queer-centered, anti-oppressive, and culturally responsive therapists and coaches.
